ISO/TS 16949:2002

The Pursuit of Excellence:

Achievement of ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification has been for us an apt recognition of our commitment to quality. For, we, at KEWPL have always striven to implement the concept of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) with the usage of appropriate technology and production methods to add value to the system and continuous identification and elimination of wastage, we ensure that our pursuit of excellence continues on the path of TQM culture.

We are implementing system like; Kaizen and lean manufacture to enhance value to our products .We are 'A' Grade supplier to Tata Motors. Our goods are Directly Supplied to their lines on a J.I.T. basis. We are Single Source Suppliers for most of our products to Tata Motors.

Our sincere and continuous efforts in the field of quality management are recognised by the CII (Confederation Of Indian Industries) for the "BEST COMPANY AWARD" for the year 2006-2007 in TML and CII Cluster of 10 Companies, comprising of members engaged in manufacturing components required by the TATA MOTORS LTD. We have implemented ‘5S’ and ‘3M’ techniques in our shop floor for continual improvement in housekeeping.

Production Capacity:

The current production capacity of KEWPL at their plant in Talawade is to the tune of 150 exhaust systems/day and over 600 exhaust pipes /day in a single shift.
